Test Re: Re9

  1. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Disconnect control module connector No. 2, right power door key lock switch connector, left power door lock switch connector and CPU connector.
  2. Check resistance in Yellow/Red wire between control module connector No. 2 and following:
    • Right power door key lock switch connector.
    • Left power door lock switch connector.
    • CPU connector.

    If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace control module. If resistance is at least 5 ohms, repair Yellow/Red wire.

  3. Check resistance in Yellow/Red wire between control module connector No. 2 and chassis ground. If resistance is greater than 10,000 ohms, replace control module. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair Yellow/Red wire.
