Power Windows

Power window system consists of 2 control switches, a lock switch, and 2 motor and drive assemblies. Main switch on driver's door armrest controls driver's door window and passenger's door window.

Main switch has a one-touch (down) feature which allows driver to fully open driver's or passenger's window by firmly pressing main switch and then releasing. When the window is fully open, the switch will release.

Power windows are regulated by 2 encased cables. See Fig 1 . The cables connect an electric motor-driven regulator to a slider bracket. When power window switch is operated, cables move slider bracket up and down.
