Verify customer concern by operating system in question. Attempt to duplicate condition by operating handles, locks latches and mechanisms. Ensure battery is fully charged. Visually inspect the following components.
If inspection reveals an obvious concern which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction before continuing inspection and verification.
