All Power Windows Inoperative

  1. Check Window Operation

Operate passenger windows from driver's master power window switch. If windows operate, go to PINPOINT TEST C . If windows do not operate, go to next step.
  2. Check Power To Switch

Disconnect driver's window switch connector. Using a voltmeter connected to ground, measure voltage at driver's switch harness connector Light Blue/Black wire. If battery voltage exists, go to step 4). If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step.
  3. Check Light Blue/Black Wire For Short To Ground

Disconnect fuse junction panel connector C4. See Figure. Measure resistance between ground and connector C4 terminal No. 23. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Light Blue/Black wire. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, repair open in Light Blue/Black wire.
  4. Check Ground Circuit Continuity

Measure resistance between ground and switch harness connector Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace window switch. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire.
