Test D: Generic Electronic Module Does Not Respond To Scan Tool

- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect Generic Electronic Module (GEM) connector C104. Measure resistance between GEM connector C104 terminal No. 16 (White/Green wire) and DLC terminal No. 7 (White/Black wire). See Figure and Fig 1 . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace GEM and test system operation. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open between C104 and DLC connector. Test system operation.
