Removal & Installation: Spring: Installation

NOTE: Final tightening of the shock absorber lower retaining bolt should be carried out when the vehicle weight is on the road wheels.
    CAUTION: Make sure the top seat mounting is installed, and the spring ends butt correctly against the upper and lower spring seats.
  1. Install the spring.
    2. NOTE: Do not fully tighten the shock absorber lower retaining bolt at this stage.
  2. Attach the shock absorber to the wheel knuckle.
  3. Install the rear wheel and tire.
  4. Tighten the shock absorber lower retaining bolt.
