Keyless Entry Does Not Operate
- If right door lock operates from either power door lock switch, go to next step. If right door lock does not operate from either power door lock switch, see POWER DOOR LOCKS article.
- If rear window operates from vehicle's rear window release switch, go to next step. If rear window does not operate from vehicles rear window release switch, see POWER REAR WINDOW/LIFTGATE RELEASE article.
- If left power door lock operates from either of vehicle's power door lock switches, go to step 8). If left power door lock does not operate from either of vehicle's power door lock switches, go to next step.
- Disconnect Black, 16-pin connector from remote control door lock receiver. Connect test light between battery voltage and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "N" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire between remote control door lock receiver and ground.
- Connect test light between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "J" (Pink wire). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Pink wire between fuse block and remote control door lock receiver.
- Connect test light between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "F" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire between fuse block and remote control door lock receiver.
- Connect test light between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "E" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire between fuse block and remote control door lock receiver.
- Disconnect door lock relay 6-pin connector. Connect test light between battery voltage and door lock relay connector terminal "D" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire between door lock relay and ground.
- Connect test light between ground and door lock relay connector terminal "C" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire between door lock relay and fuse block.
- Reconnect remote control door lock receiver connector. Connect test light between ground and door lock relay connector terminal "A" (White wire). Push LOCK button on remote transmitter. If test light illuminates, replace door lock relay. If test light does not illuminate, replace remote control door lock receiver.
