Liftgate Window Release Inoperative Using Transmitter
- Disconnect liftgate release motor Black, 2-pin connector. Connect test light between ground and liftgate release motor connector terminal "A" (Black wire). Push liftgate release button (2X) on transmitter. If test light illuminates, go to step 3). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Disconnect remote control door lock receiver Black, 16-pin connector. Connect self-powered test light between remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "G" (Black wire) and liftgate release motor connector terminal "A" (Black wire). Check for continuity. If test light illuminates, replace remote control door lock receiver. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire between remote control door lock receiver and rear liftgate release motor.
- Connect test light between battery voltage and liftgate release motor connector terminal "B" (Yellow wire). If test light illuminates, replace liftgate release motor. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Disconnect park/neutral position switch Gray, 7-pin connector. Connect self-powered test light between park/neutral position switch connector terminal "A" (Yellow wire) and liftgate release motor connector terminal "B" (Yellow wire). Check for continuity. If test light illuminates, replace liftgate release motor. If test light does not illuminate, Repair open in Yellow wire between park/neutral position switch and liftgate release motor.
