Installation Procedure

  1. Install the remote control door lock receiver (2) to the instrument panel center support bracket.
  2. Install the remote control door lock receiver retainer (3).
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the remote control door lock receiver.

  4. Install the instrument panel center support bracket (4).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the bolt (3) that retains the reinforcement to the instrument panel center support bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the bolts (2) that retain the instrument panel center support bracket to the steering column bracket (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 65 N.m (47 lb ft).
