Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel speed sensor to the suspension knuckle.
    2. Fig 1: Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the front wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the front wheel speed sensor bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the front wheel speed sensor harness clips (1) to the vehicle frame.

  5. Install the front wheel speed sensor harness connector retainer (1) to the vehicle frame.
  6. Connect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
