Installation Procedure

    Remote Function Actuator Module (1) - Install

  2. Ensure that the retaining tabs are fully secured.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  5. Headlining Trim Panel (2) - Install
  6. Return both front seats to their original position.

    Roof Rail Assist Handle - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Roof Rail Assist Handle Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  9. Close the assist handle covers (1).

    Connect the electrical connector.

  11. Press inward on the retaining tabs and rotate the rear seat position center courtesy lamp (1) upward and rearward.

    NOTE:

    Feed the seat belt through the body side rear window garnish molding (1).

  14. Ensure the seat belt webbing does not become trapped during installation.

    Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  17. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt Cap - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    Rear Seat Belt Retractor Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Feed the seat belt through the center pillar upper trim panel (1).

  20. Ensure the seat belt webbing does not become trapped during installation.
  21. Feed the front seat belt anchor plate tensioner through the center pillar upper trim panel (1).

    Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Lower Hole Cover - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  25. Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt Cap - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:

    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Remove loose debris from internal and external threads using compressed air.
    4. Apply liquid thread locking adhesive in a strip along half of the length of the external threads, starting at the tip, just prior to installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
  27. Front Seat Belt Anchor Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  28. Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Cover - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Starting at the front of the front side door sill garnish molding (1) engage the 2 retaining clips on the forward vertical wall.

  31. Work your way rearward engaging the front side door sill garnish molding retaining clips.
  32. Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  34. Roof Console (1) @ Headlining Trim Panel - Install

    Headlining Trim Panel - Move into position

  36. Apply pressure upward on the roof console to engage the 4 roof rear console retainers (1).

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover (1) - Install

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Insert (1) - Install

  39. Apply pressure upward on the windshield multifunction sensor mount bracket cover insert (1) to engage the retaining tabs.

    Windshield Garnish Molding - Right Side (1) - Install

    Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  42. Close the assist handle covers (1).

    Align the windshield upper garnish molding clip (3) with the slot in the A pillar and install.

    Windshield Garnish Molding - Left Side (1) - Install

    Sunshade Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  46. Sunshade Support Bolt Cover - Left Side and Right Side (4) - Install [2x]

    Sunshade Support Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  48. Close the left side and right side sunshade support bolt access covers.
  49. Rear Seat Cushion - Install - Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation
  50. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
