Removal Procedure
- Using the scan tool, deflate the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the fascia. (1) Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (GQH / GQI / GQO) , or Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (GQ2 / GQB / GQC)
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Standard Service) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Mobile Service)
Remove the wire harness retainer (2).
- Disconnect the 3 wire harness connectors (1).
- NOTE:
The air lines and air suspension controller are color coded to aid with installation.
Remove the 5 automatic level control air compressor tube fitting (1) from the air suspension controller.
Remove the air intake line from the body grommet (1) and remove the 2 air line retainers (2).
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Bolt (2) - Remove
- Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
Automatic Level Control Module (1) - Remove
Service mode will be automatically enabled when the ride height sensors detect the vehicle has been lifted off the ground. Service mode will automatically be disabled when the vehicle reaches 16 km/h (10 MPH).
