Repair Procedures: Removal
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves before removing/installing the drive unit.
- Do not install or carry a push rod, controller and wire harnesses by holding it with bare hands.
- Be careful when removing the push rod, the trunk may close.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the right trunk trim after opening the trunk.
(Refer to Body - "TRUNK TRIM ")
- Separate the power trunk module push rod pin (B) and then remove the power trunk module connecting rod (A).
- Remove the power trunk module & drive unit (A) after disconnect the connector (B) and loosening the mounting bolts & nuts.
- Remove the power trunk module (A) after disconnecting the power trunk module connector (B) and loosening the mounting screws.
