Repair Procedures: Disassembly

  1. Remove the OAP cap (A).

    NOTE:
    • When installing, replace with new OAP cap.
  2. Remove the pulley (A) after loosening the pulley nut.

  3. Remove the alternator cover (A) after loosening the mounting nut.

  4. Remove the brush holder assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolt and nut.

  5. Remove the slip ring guide (A).

  6. Remove the 4 through bolts (A).

  7. Separate the rotor (A) and cover (B).

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
