Repair Procedures: Removal

Information 

• Put on gloves before removing/installing the drive unit.
• Do not install or carry a push rod, controller and wire harnesses by holding it with bare hands.
• Be careful when removing the push rod, the trunk may close.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the luggage side trim [LH].

   (Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")

3. Disconnect the power trunk control unit connector (A).

4. Remove the push rod lock pin (B), loosen the mounting bolts and remove the power trunk control unit (A).

5. Disconnect the power trunk motor connector (A).

6. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the power trunk control unit (A).
