Repair Procedures: Removal

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
Remove the engine room front cover (A).

Disconnect the ECM connector (A).

After removing the ECM bracket installation nuts (A), remove the ECM bracket assembly.
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.7 - 8.6 lb-ft)

After removing the installation bolts and nut (A), remove the ECM from the bracket.
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.7 - 8.6 lb-ft)
