High Altitude Compensation Switch (Spectrum)

Switch is located on right side of firewall. Switch detects changes in atmospheric pressure in response to elevation. At elevations less than 4000 ft., switch is open. At elevation above 4000 ft., switch closes. This closes circuit between battery, altitude mixture solenoid valve and idle-up solenoid valve to adjust air/fuel mixture and idle speed in relation to altitude.
