Stator Test

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check stator leads for continuity. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1. If continuity DOES NOT exist between stator leads, replace stator.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between stator leads and stator core. Perform STEP 2. See Figure. If continuity exists, replace stator.
