Panel Illumination Switch
To check panel illumination switch, remove switch from dash panel and connect 12-volt battery positive jumper lead to terminal "B" of switch. Connect battery negative jumper lead to terminal "E" of switch. Connect test light between terminal "L" and battery positive terminal. See Fig 1 . Turning switch clockwise should brighten test light; counterclockwise should dim test light.
