Hazard Warning Switch: Metro

  1. Ensure hazard fuse and turn signal relay are good. Push switch to ON position. Using test light, ensure voltage exists at headlight switch harness connector terminal No. 3 (White/Green wire) and terminal No. 9 (Yellow/Red wire). Headlight switch harness connector C-5 has 16 terminals, and is plugged into bottom of junction/fuse block located under left dash panel.
  2. If voltage does not exist at terminal No. 3 (White/Green wire), repair White/Green wiring circuit of junction/fuse block. If voltage does not exist at terminal No. 9 (Yellow/Red wire), replace hazard/headlight switch assembly.
