Anti-Lock Brake System: Description

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) operates on all 4 wheels. Wheel speed sensor and Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) can determine when a wheel is about to lock and adjust hydraulic pressure to maintain optimum braking. ABS system consists of EBCM, wheel speed sensors (4), hydraulic unit, warning light and brake switch.
