Panel Light Dimmer Switch Test

Remove switch from dash. Using a jumper wire, connect battery negative terminal to terminal No. 1 (Black wire) of switch. Connect jumper lead from positive battery terminal to terminal No. 2 (Red/Yellow wire) of switch. Connect test light between terminal No. 3 (Red/Green wire) and switch terminal No. 2. Turning switch clockwise should brighten test light; counterclockwise should dim test light. Replace switch it does not operate as specified.
