Hazard Warning Switch Test

NOTE: Hazard switches for Storm and is incorporated in combination switch. See HAZARD WARNING SWITCH TEST under TESTING in STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article.
  1. Ensure hazard fuse and turn signal flasher unit are okay. Disconnect battery negative cable. Unplug 10-pin hazard switch connector under left side of instrument panel.
  2. With hazard switch off, check continuity between Green/White and Green/Red wires. If no continuity exists, replace hazard switch. If continuity exists, go to next step.
  3. Turn hazard switch on. Check continuity between White and Green/Red wires. If no continuity exists, replace hazard switch. If continuity exists, check continuity between Green/White and Green/Black wires, and between Green/White and Green/Yellow wires.
