Rectifier Test

  1. With rectifier assembly on bench, contact diode plate using one ohmmeter probe and each of 3 diode leads using other probe. Note ohmmeter reading. Reverse probes, and repeat test for all diodes.
  2. All diodes should show a low resistance in one direction and no continuity in opposite direction. If any diode is defective, replace rectifier assembly.
