Engine Controls - Adjustments 1.6 & 1.8L: Introduction

NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, references to Prizm include Prizm LSi.

NOTE: Geo uses two types of diagnostic connectors. Duty check Data Link Connector (duty check DLC) and OBD-II Data Link Connector (DLC). In this article, duty check DLC refers to 23-pin diagnostic connector. Connector is located next to left strut tower in engine compartment. DLC refers to 16-pin diagnostic connector located under instrument panel used for scan tool hook-up.
