Functional Test

NOTE: If vehicle does not function as specified, go to appropriate symptom test under SYMPTOM TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition switch to ON or ACC position. Place power mirror selector switch in "L" (left) position. Move power mirror switch between UP and DOWN positions. Left front power mirror should move smoothly upward and downward.
  2. Move power mirror switch between LEFT and RIGHT positions. Left front power mirror should move smoothly left and right.
  3. Place power mirror selector switch in "R" (right) position. Move power mirror switch between UP and DOWN positions. Right front power mirror should move smoothly upward and downward.
  4. Move power mirror switch between LEFT and RIGHT positions. Right front power mirror should move smoothly left and right.
  5. After performing appropriate symptom test(s) and making repairs, repeat FUNCTIONAL TEST to ensure system is operational.
