Rectifier Test

  1. With rectifier assembly on bench, contact diode plate using one ohmmeter probe and each of 3 diode leads using other probe. Note ohmmeter reading. Reverse probes, and repeat test for all diodes.
  2. All diodes should show low resistance in one direction and no continuity in opposite direction. If any diode is defective, replace rectifier assembly.
