Component Testing: THERMOSENSOR

  1. On carbureted models, remove leads from thermosensor. On a cold engine, below 158°F (70°C), there should be no continuity. There should be continuity above 158°F (70°C). Ensure engine is cold. Check for continuity to block below 167°F (75°C).
