Switch A

  1. On 1300 and 1500 HF models, disconnect No. 4 hose on control box No. 1 from vacuum hose manifold. Connect vacuum pump to hose. There should be voltage at Black/Red wire terminal of vacuum switch when less than 2 in. Hg vacuum is applied to switch.
  2. On 1500 except HF models, disconnect No. 4 hose on control box No. 2 from vacuum hose manifold. Connect vacuum pump to hose. There should be voltage at Black/Orange (Blue/Black on hatchback/sedan man. trans. models) wire terminal of vacuum switch when less than 1.2 in. Hg vacuum is applied to switch.
