Throttle Angle Sensor

This sensor is essentially a variable resistor. Rotor shaft is connected to throttle valve shaft and as throttle valve is moved, resistance varies, altering output voltage to control unit.

Disconnect throttle angle sensor connector. Measure resistance between Yellow/Red and Brown/Black terminals at sensor. Resistance should be 3200-7200 ohms. If resistance is outside specified range, adjust installation position of sensor and retest. Replace sensor if necessary.
