Throttle Control System: Description

Throttle control system used on Accord (man. trans. only) and Prelude carbureted models is a dual-function system designed to limit the formation of noncombustible mixtures in the combustion chamber during deceleration and/or gear shifting and assist engine starting. Throttle control system consists of a dashpot diaphragm, linkage rod and check valve. See Figure .
