(1) DTC retrieved from MIL (engine controls) or A/T position "D4" indicator (A/T controls) flashes when SCS service connector is connected. MIL and "D4" indicator may flash simultaneously. Diagnosis MIL DTCs before "D4" DTCs.
(2) Except D16Y5 engine with M/T.
(3) D16Y5 engine.
(4) Does not apply to all models. Refer to vehicle underhood EMISSION GROUP IDENTIFICATION label.
(5) DTC P0700 is always displayed on Honda PGM Tester and scan tool if PGM-FI control system has detected any transmission fault. To clear DTC P0700, diagnose and repair all other transmission codes.
(6) See appropriate DIAGNOSIS article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
(7) D16Y5 engine with M/T.
(8) DTC P1300 or some of DTCs P0301 through P0306.
(9) A/T and D16Y7.
(10) With D16Y5 engine and CVT.
