Ignition Switch Test

  1. Remove lower instrument panel cover and driver's side knee bolster. See Figure .
  2. Disconnect 6-pin connector and 3-pin connector from steering column harness. See Figure . Using a DVOM, check continuity between specified connector terminals, with ignition switch in appropriate position. If continuity is not as specified, replace ignition switch.
