Pull-In Test

  1. Check continuity between starter case (ground) and starter solenoid terminal "S". If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace starter solenoid.
  2. Check continuity between starter solenoid terminals "S" and "M". See Figure-Figure . If continuity exists, pull-in coil is okay. If continuity does not exist, replace starter solenoid.
