Automatic Transmission Servicing: Adjustments: Notes

WARNING: All models are equipped with a Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system (SRS). When servicing vehicle, use care to avoid accidental air bag deployment. SIR system-related components are located in various locations throughout interior and exterior of vehicle, depending on application. Do not use electrical test equipment on or near these circuits. If necessary, deactivate SIR system before servicing components. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.

CAUTION: Radio has a coded theft protection circuit. Before disconnecting battery cables, obtain radio anti-theft code number from customer. After reconnecting power, turn ignition and radio on. When CODE is displayed on radio, enter customer 5-digit code using radio preset buttons to restore radio operation.
