Passenger's Multiplex Control Unit

- Remove right kick panel. Unbolt and pull out passenger's underdash fuse/relay box. Unplug and remove multiplex control unit from back of passenger's underdash fuse/relay box. Inspect connector terminals for damage or corrosion. Repair as necessary and retest system. If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
- Using DVOM, perform control unit input test. See Fig 1 . If an input test indicates a problem, find and correct cause and retest system. If all input test results are okay, replace multiplex control unit most closely related to problem. Retest system. If problem still exists, reinstall multiplex control unit and replace next most closely related multiplex control unit.
