Navigation Unit Removal/Installation

NOTE: If the navigation unit is replaced or disconnected, a map matching must be done (see AFTER SERVICING PROCEDURES-MAP MATCHING  ).
  1. Remove the DVD disc from the navigation unit (see DVD-ROM REPLACEMENT  ).
  2. Turn the ignition switch off.
  3. Raise the driver's seat all the way up, then move it all the way forward.
  4. Remove the driver's seat rear riser cover (see step 6 in FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  5. Lift up the rear of the seat connectors mounting clip (A), and disconnect the navigation unit connectors (B).

  6. Move the driver's seat all the way back, and remove the four mounting nuts (A), then remove the navigation unit (B) with brackets (C) from the driver's seat.

  7. Remove the bracket from the navigation unit.
  8. Install the reverse order of removal.
