Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Assembly

  1. Place the air cleaner assembly (1) into the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the air cleaner bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Connect the AIR pump inlet hose (1) quick connect fitting to the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor (2).
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
