Testing Oil Pressure Switch

To test oil pressure switch, disconnect wire to switch. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between switch terminal and body ground. There should be continuity with engine stopped. There should be no continuity when engine is running and oil pressure is at 4.27 psi (.30 kg/cm² ). If switch does not react properly, replace switch.
