Component Tests: Speedometer: Notes

CAUTION: If using a dynamometer to check speedometer, DO NOT operate clutch suddenly (M/T) or increase or decrease speed rapidly during testing. Ensure tire pressure is set to specification (refer to door jam label).

NOTE: Speedometer pointer fluctuations can be caused by faulty speedometer cable. Tire wear and/or improper tire inflation pressures will increase speedometer indication error.
