Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line (Refer to "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE .
  2. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (A), the fuel tank pressure sensor connector (B) and the connector (C).
  4. Disconnect the fuel feed tube quick connector (D).

  5. Lift the vehicle.
  6. Remove the center muffler assembly (Refer to MUFFLER .
  7. Support the fuel tank with a jack.
  8. Disconnect the fuel filler hose (A), the leveling hose (B) and the ventilation hose (C).

  9. Disconnect the vapor hose connecting the canister and the separator.
  10. By moving the jack down slowly, remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
