Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  1. After replacing with a new power liftgate module, check for DTC code at all times.

    If DTC code B24B0 exists, perform power liftgate mode change.

    (Refer to "TROUBLESHOOTING ")

  2. After replacing with a new power liftgate module, perform the system initialization.

    (Refer to "TROUBLESHOOTING ")

  3. Before delivery to customer, operate the power liftgate to be sure that there is no warning sound.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the rear left luggage side trim.

    (Refer to INTERIOR TRIM . )

  3. Remove the power liftgate unit connectors after loosening mounting nuts (2EA).
