Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Remove the intercooler outlet hose.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTERCOOLER ")

  4. Disconnect the ETC module connector (A), vapor hose (B), coolant hoses (D) from the ETC module, unfasten the bolts (C), and then remove the ETC module from the engine.
