Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Remove the ECTS, after disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).

    CAUTION:
    • Note that engine coolant may flow out from the water temperature control assembly when removing the sensor.
  4. Supplement the engine coolant.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "COOLANT ")
