Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air duct.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Disconnect the RCV control solenoid valve connector (A) and vapor hose (B).
  4. Remove the RCV control solenoid valve (D), after loosening the mounting bolt (C).

    Tightening Torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
