Engine Mechanical: Starter: Description

All models use Mitsubishi starters. Starter is a conventional 12-volt, 4-pole, brush-type motor with reduction gear drive. When starter is energized, starter-mounted solenoid shifts the overrunning clutch and drive gear into the flywheel.
