Remote Controller Panic Alarm Function Inoperative
- Check if horn sounds and headlights flash when anti-theft warning system is activated. If horn and headlights do not operate when alarm is activated, check anti-theft system. See appropriate ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS article. If horn and headlights operate properly, go to next step.
- Enter identity code of a different or new remote controller. See PROGRAMMING . Recheck system operation. If operation is okay, replace multi-remote controller. If same symptom occurs as in step 1) , recheck multi-remote controller operation. Replace smart entrance control unit if necessary.
