Tachometer Circuit Test
Using a voltmeter, backprobe terminal No. 16 (White/Green wire) at instrument cluster 24-pin harness connector M33. See Figure . Start engine. Observe voltmeter while changing engine RPM. If voltage is higher at higher RPM, and lower at lower RPM, tachometer circuit is okay. If voltage does not change in relation to high and low RPM, repair open or short in White/Green wire.
