Air Flow Sensor & Harness
- Partly raise sealing gasket on air flow sensor side of harness connector. Using voltmeter, check sensor wiring and sensor operation. See Air Flow Sensor Testing table.

- If checks at Red and Black wires give incorrect results, repair wiring as necessary. If checks at Green wire give incorrect results, replace air flow sensor. Check air flow by-pass circuit for contamination and clean with carburetor cleaner as necessary. DO NOT immerse switch in carburetor cleaner.
- To test air flow wiring harness circuits, turn ignition "OFF" and disconnect harness from sensor and ECU. Test harness with ohmmeter.
- All three wires must show complete circuit (0 ohms) between sensor plug and ECU plug. Ensure harness is not grounded between air flow sensor and ECU plugs.
