Crank Angle Sensor

  1. Crank angle sensor can not be tested directly. ECU signal and wiring harness is tested. If no problems are found in circuit, distributor assembly must be replaced.
  2. Unplug crank angle sensor harness at connector and ECU. There must be continuity (0 ohms) measured between sensor and ECU on White and Green wires.
  3. Black wire is ground wire for circuit. With key switch on, Red wire carries battery voltage. If circuit check is correct, replace distributor assembly.
